If the temperature is around freezing or colder, FC7X is a solid choice for your racing overlay. Ideally the temp range should be 2° to -6°C / 36° to 21°F.
If, however, humidity causes conditions of wet suction on your skis or snowboard, it's best to move to the FC8X product.
Suggested base waxes are HF7X, HF7BWX or LF7X
