Disc Description
This beaded midrange uses the same ‘Grip Performance’ rubber plastic blend as our very popular ‘Polar Bear’ putter, making it perfect for all weather conditions. It has a straight to understable flight pattern making it easy to control and a great ‘get out of trouble’ disc. Best used for short drives and shots just outside of your putting range. When you power it down it flies straight as an arrow with a small dependable fade.

Grip Performance Plastic – Firm rubber with a bit of flexibility and excellent grip in all weather conditions/temperatures. Grip improves with use.

Animal Info
The Caribou is more commonly known as a reindeer and inhabits Northern Canada. During the winter season, their hooves are small with a sharp rim to prevent the Caribou from slipping on the ice. During the summer season, the tundra becomes wet and soft and the hooves of the Caribou will expand and turn spongy to provide better traction. Its large nostrils allow incoming cold air to heat up before entering the lungs. The undercoat is dense and woolly and is covered by an overcoat with longer hollow hairs filled with insolated air. These hairs also helps the animal float when swimming large lakes and powerful rivers.

Caribou’s are migratory animals that can travel up to 4,800 kms (approximately 3,000 miles) each year. They eat many types of plants, moss and even small animals which is digested in their four chambered stomach. When running, the Caribou can reach a speed of nearly 80 km/h (50 mph).

Flight Rating Descriptions
SPEED Speed is the ability of the disc to cut through the air. Speed Ratings are listed from 1 to 14. Discs with high numbers are faster. Faster discs go farther into the wind with less effort. Slower discs take more power to throw, but have less of a chance to fly past the basket.

GLIDE Glide describes the discs ability to maintain loft during flight. Discs with more glide are best for new players, and for producing maximum distance (especially downwind). Glide is rated from 1 to 7. Beginners looking for more distance should choose discs with more glide.

TURN High Speed Turn is the tendency of a disc to turn over or bank to the right (for righthand backhand throws) during the initial part of the flight. A disc with a +1 rating is most resistant to turning over, while a -5 rating will turn the most. Discs rated -2 to -5 make good roller discs.

FADE Low Speed Fade is the discs tendency to hook left (for righthand backhand throws) at the end of the flight. Fade is rated from 0 to 5. A disc rated 0 will finish straightest, while a disc rated 5 will hook hard at the end of the flight. Discs with a high fade rating are predicable even in wind.
